In the Rijeka’s center there is a JGL Pharmacy Museum, where many interesting facts from the global and local history of pharmacy are presented in a modern and attractive way.
In this award-winning museum you can find out why the snake is a symbol of pharmacy and medicine, who first devised quarantine during the epidemic, which Rijeka pharmacy is in the same place for over 160 years, which is the Croatian national flower, what is the link between Coca-Cola and pharmacy and many other interesting things!
The permanent exhibition consists of ten units, and the central part is a beautiful historical pharmacy from the end of the 19th century with over 400 samples of pharmacy bottles.
A special attraction is multimedia, through which as many as eight 3D and 2D characters will address you, and through VR glasses you can become a virtual pharmacist and help patients or go on a virtual journey through the human body!
