Hamburg
Hamburg has the nickname "Gate of Europe" - because it is the Germany's biggest sea port. Hamburgers (yes, that’s how Germans call the citizens of Hamburg), are known as hospitable people, and for their city, they say that radiates a very special aura.
From Hamburg to Croatia twice a week, there are bus lines in the direction of the continental Croatia: Zagreb, Slavonski Brod, Požega, Đakovo, Osijek and once a week in the direction of the sea: Rijeka, Krk, Opatija, Zadar, Šibenik, Trogir, Split.
Bus station in Hamburg (ZOB), is located close to the main railway station; and from the heart of the city center there is only 10 minutes walk.
