Sumartin

Sumartin is the youngest town in the southeast of the sunniest Croatian island of Brač. The town is named after the medieval church of St. Martin and is known for the oldest shipyard in the Adriatic. Today Sumartin is significant because of its ferry port that connects the island with Makarska and is one of the popular tourist destinations on the island.

Bus station in Sumartin is well connected by bus with other places on the island of Brač such as Bol, Supetar, Postira and Pučišća. If you travel to Brač by bus, you need to reach Split or Makarska, where you can continue your journey by ferry, which sails from Split to Supetar (it takes 50 minutes).
